چکیده
The objective of this study was to analyze the use dolomite in diet whiteleg shrimp. It conducted June August 2018 at hatchery Pangkep State Polytechnic Agricultural. Experimental design used a completely randomized analysis with 4 treatments, A (control), B, C, and D additional dose 4, 8, 12 mg/kg, respectively 3 replications. Animal test were PL 25 from shrimp Barru District acclimatized before stocking aquarium (30l), density 20 ind., reared for 40 days, fed pellets (30% protein, 10% biomass, 5 times). molting intensity (MI) determined by observing counting number moulting every day. Observation growth rate (GR) using digital scale (0.0001 g) survival (SR) calculated live shrimps end study. Water quality parameter included temperature, salinity, DO pH. Analysis Variance (ANOVA) performed evaluate effect treatment on MI, GR, SR followed Least Significant Difference (LSD) Test. ANOVA revealed that dosage have different significant (P<0.05) LSD showed not optimal (only differentiated between those given dolomite). highest MI (avg. 18 inds.), GR (1.82% /day), (78.33%) obtained C lowest one A. Data water temperatures 29.87-31.03°C, salinity 25-30 ppt, 4.86-5.51 mg/l which still proper range. pH value 7.22-7.75, while 6.95-7.16. DO, are shrimps.

Transcriptomic responses of juvenile Pacific whiteleg shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, to hypoxia and hypercapnic hypoxia.
Estuarine crustaceans are often exposed to low dissolved O2 (hypoxia) accompanied by elevated CO2 (hypercapnia), which lowers water pH. Acclimatory responses to hypoxia have been widely characterized; responses to hypercapnia in combination with hypoxia (hypercapnic hypoxia) are less well known. Here we used oligonucleotide microarrays to characterize changes in global gene expression in the he...

Molecular analysis of the 16S rDNA of the intestinal microbiota of whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei was examined to investigate the effect of a Bacillus mix (Bacillus endophyticus YC3-b, Bacillus endophyticus C2-2, Bacillus tequilensisYC5-2) and the commercial probiotic (Alibio(®)) on intestinal bacterial communities and resistance to Vibrio infection. PCR and single strain conformation pol...
متن کاملAnalysis of multiple tissue-specific cDNA libraries from the Pacific whiteleg shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei.
Multiple small-scale transcriptome studies have been undertaken for various members of the Penaeidae. Penaeid shrimp are important both as members of diverse ecosystems around the world and for their importance as commercial commodities. Of the many shrimps, the most important from this family is the Pacific whiteleg shrimp, Litopenaeus vannamei, as it is the primary shrimp used in worldwide aq...
متن کاملPurification and characterization of an intracellular lipase from pleopods of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei).
An intracellular lipase present in the whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei was detected in pleopods. The lipase from pleopods was purified and characterized by biochemical and kinetic parameters. Purified intracellular lipase has a molecular mass of 196kDa, the polypeptide is assembled by two monomers, 95.26 and 63.36kDa. The enzyme lacks glycosylation, and it has an isoelectric point of 5.0. ...
